I'm a front-end engineer who took the scenic route through advertising, marketing, and veterinary medicine before finding my way to software.
I've spent the last three-plus years building production applications with React and TypeScript. I love learning how things work, asking approximately one million questions, and understanding everything around the code too - product, business, people, all of it.
Mostly living in React, TypeScript, Next.js, and React Query these days, with a soft spot for accessibility and anything that makes the person on the other end of the screen a little less invisible.
Currently: getting deeper into front-end architecture, learning new technologies across the stack, building in public again, and continuing to explore AI - I'm paying close attention to how AI is changing what we build and how we build it.
Still very interested in the humans on the other side of all this technology.
Still very interested in horses, too.
